In Memory of Our Darling Grandson

Jacob Gregory Hanley

November 26, 2007 - June 4, 2008

Silent Child
by Kelly Lancor

My silent child
our precious baby,
Close to my heart
I'll keep you with me.
An important job
God has for you,
There is love to give,
and work to do
.

He needs an angel
strong but small,
To shine light on many
and give love to all.
Before you go
I give you this,
half my heart
and one last kiss.

We Love You & Miss You Everyday..

"My First Birthday in Heaven"

Calling all the angels--
It's a special day today!

For Jacob's turning one year old!
Here's what he has to say:

"Momma and Daddy, please dry all your tears;
I know you miss me so.
And if it had been up to me,
I'd never have chosen to go."

"For I knew that you would miss me
And the things that we could do,
And I wish I could have stayed on earth
And lived down there with you."

"But, Momma and Daddy, now I'm well and whole;
I sing and dance all day

With all the angel boys and girls
Who've come to heaven to stay."

"Lord Jesus holds us in His arms
And tells us of His love;
He knew that we were hurting--
That's why we came above."

"I love you, Momma, Daddy & Anna, every day;
I send you kisses, too.
And some day you will join me here

And I'll always be with you."

"I've got to go--the party's on!
We'll sing and dance and play.
But I am always in your heart
And never far away."

"Please find a way to celebrate,
Even if you cry;
Perhaps you'll send me some balloons
Soaring to the sky."

"And I will know they came from you,
And I'll be flying near.
I send you love and kisses, too.
I love you, Momma, Daddy & Big Sister Anna.

Happy Birthday Jacob, We love you & miss you everyday.

"My First Christmas in Heaven"

I see countless Christmas trees around the world below with tiny lights like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear, but the sound of music can't compare with the choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, for it is beyond description , to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart, but I am not so far away; we really aren't apart. So be happy for me, dear ones; you know I hold you dear, and be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesu
s Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly father above, I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all love is a gift more precious than pure gold, it was always most important in the stories that Jesus told.

Please love each other , as my father said to do, for I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear, remember--- I am spending Christmas with Jesus this year.
